Port Pirie, SA

Port Pirie was a 560km drive from Ceduna, and was our third and final night on the four day drive back across the Nullarbor to South Australia (Esperance to Goolwa Beach – 2300km).

We arrived at about 5pm and so had time for a decent walk before dark. The motel was in a suburb called Solomontown – where we found a beach, a jetty, and a walk across a bridge into some kind of bush/wasteland/industrial area. From there we got some decent views of the Flinders Ranges across Port Pirie Creek.
