Arkaroo Rock, SA

We visited Arkaroo Rock in the afternoon after we had finished our walk to Mount Ohlssen Bagge. It was a 20 minute drive to the nearby car park, and from there it was a 1.5km walk to get to the rock.
We visited Arkaroo Rock primarily to view the rock art (which is estimated to be over 5000 years old) – but the track to the rock and back also had some good views of the nearby mountains.
Near the start of the trail we saw a big pack of feral goats – an invasive species which are unfortunately responsible for a lot of damage to native vegetation.
