We didn’t set out with the intention of visiting the Art Gallery of South Australia – but we saw the entrance during a ‘digestive stroll’ after a Vietnamese lunch in Adelaide CBD, and decided to take a look inside.

The Art Gallery has been there since 1881 and it has the second largest art collection in Australia (after the National Gallery in Melbourne). It was free to enter and there were a lot of varied and interesting items – it turned out to be a great way to spend the afternoon.
