John Forrest National Park, WA

Out of the three National Parks that we visited from Quinns Rocks, John Forrest National Park was the best one – with grass trees everywhere, nice trails, and even a view out towards Perth. It took us about an hour to get there.

They were doing maintenance and re-routing some of the trails while we were there, but it didn’t affect us – apart from making us a bit confused about the new trail names and routes.

We also got a really good view of a Bobtail (a type of large blue-tongued skink) at the side of one of the trails.
