The Bigurda Trail, WA

The Bigurda Trail is part of the coastal area of Kalbarri National Park, and it goes from Natural Arch to Eagle Gorge. It’s officially 8km each way, but the car park is 350m from Natural Arch, and it’s also a bit of extra distance down to Eagle Gorge Beach at the end – so it was more like an 18km walk in total.

It goes along the cliff tops for most of the way, with good views in both directions and viewpoints over the ‘official’ rock features: Natural Arch, Castle Cove, Island Rock, Shell House, and Eagle Gorge.
