Waikerie, SA

Waikerie is a town of around 3000 people situated on the Murray River in South Australia’s Riverland area. We passed through it on our way to Barmera, and also went out for a day trip there to do some more walking.

There’s not much really in the town, but there is a short walk with some Silo Art and views of the Murray River, and also a longer 7km walk around the Hart Lagoon which is located on the edge of town, and has typical Riverland scenery.
