We were in Doreen for four days at my sister’s house after coming back from an overseas trip.

During our stay we saw an echidna in nearby Plenty Gorge on an after-work walk. It was the first one that we had ever seen in Doreen and so it must have been lucky visit number seven – as it was our seventh time staying in Doreen.

Along with feeling very tired and repacking our mountains of stuff in an orderly manner, we also found time for a day trip to the Dandenong Ranges.

On our last night there we went to Kinn Thai restaurant at the nearby Plenty Valley Westfield. Top marks for the green curry 🙂
