The town of Vincentia on Jervis Bay was only a ten minute drive from our place in Sanctuary Point and we drove there many times after work to walk along the coast in both directions.

To the north was Huskisson and to the south was Hyams Beach, and over various visits we walked the whole coastline between the two places – a distance of around 10km.

There were many different beaches along the way, which from north to south were: Huskisson Beach, Collingwood Beach, Barfleur Beach, Nelsons Beach, Blenheim Beach, Greenfield Beach, Chinamans Beach, and Hyams Beach.

By the time that we left Sanctuary Point in December it was getting extremely busy at Hyams Beach – but the rest of the time it was fairly quiet.
