Raymond Terrace, NSW

It was too far to get to Wherrol Flat from Canberra in one day, so we broke our journey with a night at Raymond Terrace – chosen because it was the shortest distance away from the motorway.

On arrival we went for a walk to find some beer. It was dark so we didn’t see the Hunter River that passes through town, but we did see the very popular McDonald’s – as going through the car park was the quickest way to get to the bottle shop.
