Giants of Mandurah, WA

The Giants of Mandurah are a set of sculptures by the artist Thomas Dambo – a Danish artist who makes sculptures from recycled materials and trash. There are a total of six Giants in Western Australia.

The sculptures are mostly located in bushland around the city of Mandurah, which is about 70km south of Perth – so we took a day trip from Rockingham with CC’s mum to track down three of these Giants.

Each Giant looked quite different and there was a short to medium walk required to visit each one. They were fairly spread out across the area around Mandurah and so it took most of the day to visit these three. We also stopped in the centre of Mandurah for a bit of a look around and some refreshments.
