Bherwerre Beach, NSW

Day Trip From: Sanctuary Point
November / December 2020

Bherwerre Beach is located inside Booderee National Park and we went there four times during our stay – the beach is 7km long and has a few different access points.

We visited the beach a couple of times when we were in the Cave Beach area of the National Park, as it’s possible to walk there from the Cave Beach car park.

The other way to access the beach involves a drive down a gravel road alongside St Georges Basin where there are a few parking areas with access trails to the beach – including the 2km long Pimple Track, which we walked twice (once by ourselves and once when friends came to visit).

The far end of Bherwerre Beach meets Sussex Inlet, and we went to this section of the beach when our friends came to visit.
