Holmes Jungle Nature Park is on the outskirts of Darwin and we went there twice.

In the park there were two walks – the Woodland Walk and the Jungle Walk, which were connected together. Doing both of the walks was a pleasant one hour stroll of about 3km return.

We saw quite a few birds in the park – including a long-tailed finch for the first time.
