Aldinga Beach, SA
Aldinga Beach is just south of Port Willunga and we walked there many times along the coastal footpath/bikeway – which is around 5km long.
As well as being a beach, Aldinga Beach is also a fairly large suburb with a few cafes/restaurants in the coastal area, and a large shopping centre about a kilometre inland.
During our visits we tried out a wine-bar type place and also a Sicilian restaurant. CC also went and found a place for a haircut.
In the north of the suburb was an area called Snapper Point – a rocky shallow area with a reef just off the coast.
Further south, Aldinga Beach was a 5km long stretch of sand. On this stretch, vehicle access was allowed and it was often covered in cars.
