We were back for a short stay in Alice Springs after a couple of months spent in the Darwin area. This time we were on holiday and had taken some days off work so that we could visit a few more places in the MacDonnell Ranges.

On our way we stopped briefly (for about an hour) at Aileron Roadhouse to check out the sculptures and famous sign.

We stayed at Alice on Todd serviced apartments – the same place as during our previous longer visit to Alice.

In the MacDonnell Ranges we went to Ellery Creek Big Hole, Ochre Pits, and Ormiston Gorge and Pound.
