We were back for a short stay in Alice Springs after a couple of months spent in the Darwin area – but this time we were on holiday and had taken time off work so that we could visit a few more places in the MacDonnell Ranges.

On our way there we stopped briefly (for about an hour) at Aileron Roadhouse to check out the sculptures and famous sign.

Our accommodation was Alice on Todd serviced apartments  – the same place that we stayed during our previous longer visit to Alice.

We went out on days trips to Ellery Creek Big Hole, Ochre Pits, and Ormiston Gorge and Pound.
