Bridport, TAS

Day Trip From: Hillwood
January 2023

We headed out to Bridport to take a look around the popular Tasmanian seaside town, and to walk the Bridport walking track, which is an 11km loop starting from the coast, then following the Brid River up through some forest, before looping back around to the coast on the other side of Bridport, from where you can walk along the coast back to the start of the trail.

Bridport itself was not much to write home about as they say, but the trail was fairly enjoyable – although nothing spectacular. Much of the coastal stretch was in front of a giant caravan park, which wasn’t great – but we did see an echidna there.
