Coomies Walk is a 9km loop walk on the Beecroft Peninsula which starts from Currarong – around 45 minutes drive from our base in Sanctuary Point. The walk goes around the Beecroft Headland and so there is a fair bit of coastal scenery.

We had visited the Beecroft Peninsula the day before on a hot sunny afternoon, but when we arrived at Currarong to start the walk this time, it was SO much colder and windier and also very cloudy. We we very glad we had more then just t-shirts to wear.

The walk passed through various coastal lookouts – including Gosangs Tunnel – where you can crawl through a long(ish) tunnel and come out on a ledge overlooking the ocean.
