Onkaparinga River National Park, SA
Onkaparinga River National Park is about 12km long and straddles the area on both sides of the Onkaparinga River. At the eastern end of the park the river is in a deep gorge.
We went to the park quite a few times as there were a lot of different areas and trails to walk. During our shorter visits we walked the Sundews Ridge Hike (4km), the Chapel Hill Lookout Loop (1.5km), and the Hardy’s Scrub Hike (4km).
We also went once for a full day trip to walk the Gorge Hike (6km, grade 4)
