Torndirrup National Park, WA

Day Trip From:
March 2024

Torndirrup National Park is less than 30 minutes from Albany, and we had previously visited to walk the Bald Head track at the far end of the park.

We went back on an overcast Saturday to visit the rest of the main attractions of the park, which are various rock formations, beaches, and coastal scenery.

Our first stop was The Gap and Natural Bridge – some rock formations with wild waves crashing against them. Then we proceeded to visit Cable Beach, Frenchman Bay, Salmon Holes, and The Blowholes.

The coastal scenery was nice enough, but it was fairly crowded all round and the The Blowholes weren’t very spectacular on that particular day.

The whole visit only took a couple of hours.
