Glenalta, Adelaide, SA
This was part two of our Xmas and New Year coverage, and we had stayed in Glenalta previously in the exact same place – which was a small one room cabin type place, but we loved the location and price! ๐
We had six days of not working here (4 days off and a weekend), and we made the most of it by visiting various nearby National Park type areas (Mount Lofty Botanic Garden, Sturt Gorge, Cleland Conservation Park)ย and doing lots of bushwalks. There were a few days of very hot weather – eg. around 40 degrees, so on those days we did short walks in the morning and then went out again at around 5pm (at this time it was still 32 degrees!). In the heat of the day we stayed in and watched movies and a Mexican soap opera.
During our work time we enjoyed an after work walk to Belair National Park and pretty much saw Koalas there every day ๐
