Woomargama, NSW

Woomargama was our stopover between Sydney and Melbourne. We chose Woomargama not out of a burning desire to visit, but because it had a motel with a cheap, large room with good reviews.

It turned out to be a very small, but nice village with pretty much just the motel and attached pub/restaurant and a few residential streets. However, it did also have a big mural and a statue of a squirrel glider! Yes, we were pretty pleased with these additions to the village, and after our stroll around the streets we treated ourselves to a schooner at the pub on a lovely sunny deck.
