George Town and Low Head, TAS

George Town was about a 20 minute drive away from our place in Hillwood and we went there twice after work. Low Head is around 5km from George Town and is the site of a famous lighthouse. There is a coastal walking trail between the two places, but around half of it is just alongside the main road, as opposed to along nice coastal scenery. There is also a hill with a viewpoint and an old semaphore station like the one on Mount Direction.

Between our two trips out that way, we walked some of the coastal trail, visited three lighthouses, went up to the viewpoint, went grocery shopping, and ate fish and chips for dinner.
