Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park, SA
Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park is an area of bushland located just back from the coast near Aldinga Beach.
As it was so close to where we were staying, we went there frequently for walks. There were multiple colour-coded trails in the park, and as it was not that large we ended up walking all of them at some point or another.
It was excellent for kangaroo spotting, and we saw kangaroos every time that we visited.
It was less excellent for echidna spotting, as despite the large sign at the entrance proclaiming that echidnas were in the area – we never saw one.
It was generally very peaceful with few other walkers, and we also saw quite a lot of birds during our visits.
