Kings Billabong Park, VIC

Kings Billabong was about a 40 minute drive from our place in Merbein and it had quite a few different walks around various lagoons which used to be part of the Murray River. It was a nice place to walk around as it was fairly quiet (probably due to the 35C heat…) and so we went twice.

Whilst not spectacular, it was scenic enough – by now we had spent a lot of time walking around lagoons near the Murray River, and so it was a bit ‘samey’ (yes, we do have short attention spans 🙂 )  We didn’t see any exciting birds either… 🙁
