Mount Lofty Botanic Garden, SA

The Mount Lofty Botanic Garden was a short drive from where we were staying and we had an enjoyable day walking around on the various trails. The garden is a ‘cool climate’ garden, due to its altitude, and contains a series of gullies with rainforest type plants in them. Some of these gullies were not very well signposted, and several times we somehow ended up in areas that were supposedly off-limits to the public?! Yes, we will follow any trail as long as it doesn’t say ‘no entry’!

Although not ‘spectacular’ (yes, we are hard to please… 🙂 ) it was still a worthwhile trip out.
